Have a clear out and recycle it for CAFOD

If you have any unwanted jewellery, currency and coins, stamps or electronics, now is your chance to get rid of them and support CAFOD!

CAFOD is working with Recycling for Good Causes to help you help the environment.

While this picture of Ruben harvesting crops Bolivia may seem to have nothing to do with recycling for CAFOD, they’re an example of people our partners have been able to help because of all your previous support (including recycling). Other suggested links for this and the top picture are welcome in the comments section below.

Detailed below are the items which Recycling for Good Causes will take, simply drop your unwanted items to the local CAFOD office near Guildford and we will do the rest!

  • Jewellery – unwanted gold, silver (including damaged items), costume jewellery, watches.
  • Currency and coins – banknotes and coins, any currency (UK or foreign) of any age, even outdated or unchangeable currency.
  • Stamps –  loose or single stamps, albums, first day covers or presentation packs, collections, postcard collections.
  • Electrical – Mobile phones, video cameras, old film cameras, SLR and lenses, digital cameras, stat navs, game consoles (games and accessories), I-pods, MP3 players, laptops, tablet computers.
