Many thanks to our CAFOD supporters in Camberley and Bagshot Catholic Parish for raising over £1,800 for the East Africa Crisis Appeal which is a fantastic amount to raise in a week!

Jo Carroll our CAFOD parish contact in Camberley and Bagshot told us that they organised a soup lunch yesterday (Thursday 30th March) which 35 parishioners attended and donated £455 and then with the retiring collection that took place after all masses last weekend they raised £1846.18 to support those in desperate need in East Africa.

Over 16 million people across South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya are in urgent need of food, following months of drought. CAFOD is working with our local Church partners on the ground, who are providing vital aid to communities affected by hunger and drought. Please support the appeal  by organising a collection in your parish or putting details of how people can donate to the appeal in the newsletter.
