Racing to end poverty in Cobham

Sacred Heart Parish in Cobham held another startlingly successful race night for Connect2: Cambodia.

Over eighty people were attracted by the prospect of a traditional fish and chip supper and the chance to lay bets on some horse races which were then played on-screen so everyone in the hall could cheer along.

An incredible £1,360 was raised by the parish and will go towards the Parish’s Connected Community in Cambodia.

Our sincere thanks go to Jackie and Brian Trewby our parish volunteers, their team of willing helpers and everyone who came to support the event.
