CAFOD representative for Sierra Leone, Kayode Akintola, will be returning to visit St Erconwald’s parish in Walton-on-Thames on Saturday 25th February to share about the Ebola crisis in West Africa.
You are invited to hear about how CAFOD worked in partnership with other organisations to provide support during the crisis, what that support looked like, and how the country is slowly recovering one year after Sierra Leone was declared Ebola free.
Kayode is a great speaker and this is a rare chance to hear him speak.
Please come along on Saturday 25th February at 4.00 pm in the hall for refreshments, followed by a gathering with Kayode from 4.15 pm – 5.15 pm in church. You would be welcome to stay for vigil Mass at 5:45pm.
All are welcome, do get in touch with us in the local CAFOD office if you have any questions.
