We will, of course, be at the diocesan festival in the AMEX stadium on the 5th of July so please do come and find us in the plaza market place outside.
We have a variety of volunteers and staff members lined up to answer your questions and say thank you for helping people lift themselves out of poverty for the last fifty years. We will have Monserrat Fernandes from our Central America team, Pierre Fernandes (no relation) who is in charge of finding new donors. We also have Ian Farthing, Head of Fundraising and Maria-Elena Arana from our campaigns team. Naturally we, Deirdre and Martin, will also be there. Do come along to say hello!
Clare Dixon, CAFOD’s Head of Latin America and the Caribbean will be on the main stage with Bishop Dan of our sister diocese, Chulucanas, from 10:45-11:15. That is a slot you definitely don’t want to miss.
John Watts and a group of Redshirts will be singing a song for CAFOD from the Plaza stage at 12:45. Out thanks go to them for using their talents in this way.
The youth stream and vigil will have a CAFOD presence so if you’re heading there then do check out the stall and get involved.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, come and say hello.
