ARCHBISHOP ROMERO TRUST – Event tonight and tomorrow just next store IN LONDON
Monseñor – the Last Journey of Oscar Romero. The first London screenings of a new Romero film specially produced for the 30th anniversary of his martyrdom will be in the Amigo Hall, adjacent to St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, London SE1.
The English-language version of the film will be shown on Tuesday December 14th; the Spanish-language version is on Monday December 13th. Both screenings start at 7.00 pm.
The film, which lasts for 87 minutes, was produced in conjunction with Fr Robert Pelton of Notre Dame University in the United States and was shown in El Salvador and in the US in March 2010. It is not yet available for commercial showings.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Film-makers Ana Carrigan and Emanuele Pasquale will introduce the film. There will be a collection for the Archbishop Romero Trust.
